HOBO State Data Logger
Onset Logger Measuring State Open/Closed and Contact Closures
The HOBO state data logger records when devices change
between open and closed (contact closures) states. The included external input cable connects to a passive contact closure or dry relay switch. The logger
also has an internal reed switch that (when used with the included security magnets), can log the open and closing of doors, drawers, etc.

Difference Between the Hobo State and the Hobo Event Logger
The HOBO Event data logger records
the opening of the contacts only. It does not record the
closing. The HOBO State data logger records changes
in the state - both the opening and closing of the switch,
(door open/close, light on/off, etc).
